What the Client Needed
Promise Adeyemi Global Outreach needed to drive mass awareness for their flagship annual event — the Global Grace Activation Lagos — a night of worship and prayer running from 9PM to 6AM at Solution Arena, 156 Ikorodu Road, Onipanu. With a diverse lineup of 14 ministers and Apostle Promise Adeyemi as host, the campaign had to communicate credibility, excitement, and clear event details simultaneously — all in under three seconds, from a moving vehicle.

Why Outdoor? Why This Road?
In a city of over 20 million people, Lagos demands bold, unavoidable communication. Optimum Billboards identified Ikorodu Road as the ideal placement — one of the highest-traffic arterial roads in Lagos, connecting Ikeja and surrounding neighbourhoods to the mainland. The placement was deliberate: this same road leads directly to the event venue, making the billboard a de facto directional signpost embedded in the daily commute of the target audience.

The creative direction leaned into contrast and celebration. A deep black background anchors bold white typography, with gold and green accents signalling spiritual authority and festivity. The “Global Grace Activation” lockup commands the center at scale, while a warm ensemble photograph of all 14 ministers humanises the event and builds social trust at a glance. Apostle Promise Adeyemi is isolated on the far right as the dominant visual anchor — lending authority and instant recognition.

For faith-based events where credibility is everything, a prominent billboard communicates scale and seriousness in a way no digital ad can replicate. The sheer physical presence of this creative on one of Lagos’ busiest roads sent a message before a single word was read: this is a major event, and the whole city knows it.
Key insight: The billboard’s location on Ikorodu Road is the same road as the venue address — 156 Ikorodu Road. Every person who passed the billboard was already on the route to the event. Awareness and wayfinding happened in a single impression.
